Born in Paris in 1985, Victoria Wilmotte went to the Camondo School, an Interior design school in Paris ; after being graduated and obtaining a master in Design Products at the Royal College of Art of London, she opened her studio in 2009. She lives and works in Paris.
Victoria’s Wilmotte’s signature sounds now like a brand, through her personal creations and her collaboration with her clients including Ikea, Legrand, Equip’Hôtel, Made in Design, Poliform, La pierre de France, La Redoute, Classicon, LCDA, Piasa,
Hachette éditeur, Systra…
She has been working with the TORRI gallery since 2014 on more exclusive projects, such as the PAD in Paris. She can deal with both industrial and customized projects like monumental tables or, more recently, the redesign of a parisian restaurant.
She opened in 2015 her own manufacturing workshop, enabling her to put her « know-how » at her clients’ disposal. She also imagined this workshop full of machine-tools, where she designs and creates limited editions, small productions and prototypes before they are produced at a bigger scale…
Beyond design as a professional discipline, Victoria is addicted to shapes, subtly chiselled geometry, carving materials and both industrial and handmade fabrication processes. She particularly loves mineral and steel. This methodical and meticulous fascination (more commonly found in sculptors) endows Victoria with a unique perspective of domestic interiors, which now is her predominant terrain.
